to letter of 18th Instant, having been this day received by the Board, was read and

considered.

Upon fully and minutely considering the foregoing evidence the Beard

are of opinion:

That the boy marked 130 is not one of those in which the Treasure was packed at the Canton Consulate, because agree in size or shape with the two original boxes produced ; - it has not the same Chinese marks; the nails, used to fasten it are English and not Chinese as in the others;_ the wood is of a totally different description from, and much
